The Master's course in Communications Management (MKO) admits 20 students once a year in the winter semester. The formal basis of the application and admission process can be found in the admission regulations.

The deadline for admission for the winter semester 2023/24 will be Friday, 19 May 2023 (post mark). The selection interviews are expected to take place on 26 and 27 June 2023.
The application should include a CV, a letter of motivation (a maximum of two pages) and proof of language skills in German (as a foreign language). Further documents to be submitted can be found in the checklist.
- Copy of the university entrance qualification
- Copy of the Bachelor's degree certificate or current transcript of records (with at least 150 credit points) and proof that this degree can be achieved by the time of admission to the Master's degree programme if the course of studies is conducted in an orderly manner
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Copy of the birth certificate or of the identification card (passport)
- Proof of previous periods of study including semesters on leave of absence with details of the university semesters (matriculation or exmatriculation certificates)
- Motivation letter (maximum 2 pages)
- Proof of language skills in German (as a foreign language)
- Proof of at least 4 months of relevant practical experience
- If necessary, proof of study programme or job-specific experience abroad
- Proof of achievments and credit points
The documents remain at the university and are destroyed after the application process has been completed.
The prerequisite for admission is the completion of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor, Diplom, Magister) in the field of communication. Applicants must also have relevant practical experience (internships, freelance work, etc.) of at least four months' duration.
On the basis of the applications received, the selection committee of the degree course decides which applicants will be invited to a personal aptitude interview in Hanover.

After the application deadline, we will select the candidates for the selection interviews and contact you accordingly. - Step 2: Applicants who have successfully completed the selection procedure must then register on the university's online portal by 15 July.
